Motorcyclist Dies After Car Crash

A motorcyclist has died in hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Willagee on Sunday.

The Willagee man was riding a silver/gray Suzuki motorcycle west on Garling Street when he collided with a silver/gray-coloured Toyota Corolla hatchback travelling in the same direction before hitting a lamp post near the intersection of Milroy Street at 4:50pm, police spokesperson Ros Weatherall said.

The 41-year-old rider was rushed to Fremantle Hospital with serious injuries, however he died shortly.

Major crash investigators would like anyone who witnessed the accident, or either vehicle prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
